Frisco is a Zone C delivery from our Gypsum yard: $750 each way, 62 road miles east on I-70 over Vail Pass to the Frisco exits, inside the standard 2–4 week window. It is also the closest Summit County town to the yard, which makes it the natural staging point for a contractor working Frisco, Copper Mountain and the rest of the county from one set of equipment.

What does delivery to Frisco cost?

Delivery is $750 and pickup is $750, billed as two legs with no fuel, environmental or broker line on top. The fee is the same for a 10 ft storage container and a 40 ft office, because what you are paying for is a truck day, not a unit weight.

The route is I-70 east over Vail Pass at 10,662 ft (Wikipedia), then off at the Frisco exits onto Main Street or Summit Boulevard, depending on where the site sits. Copper Mountain shares Frisco's 80443 ZIP, so a base-area job there prices in Zone C too; tell us the physical address so the driver plans for the ski-area side of the interstate rather than the lake side.

The other Summit County towns, Breckenridge, Silverthorne and Keystone, are all Zone C at the same fee, and the Colorado hub shows every town's mileage from the yard. The delivery zones page explains how a ZIP resolves to a zone and what happens when an address does not.

Why is Frisco the staging point for Summit County work?

Frisco sits where Highway 9 meets I-70, with Breckenridge nine miles south, Silverthorne and Dillon across the reservoir, Keystone up US 6 and Copper Mountain a few minutes west. A contractor running crews in more than one of those towns can keep a 40 ft storage container at $425/mo in Frisco as the county-wide material box and pay one Zone C delivery for it.

The county's own building department is here as well: Summit County Building Inspection works out of the County Commons at 0037 Peak One Drive (Summit County), so an inspection question for an unincorporated site is a short drive from a Frisco office. Our jobsite setup checklist is written around exactly this kind of hub-and-spoke schedule.

Frisco's summer calendar fills Main Street and the lakefront with events, and the same fleet serves them: temporary fence by the foot for a beer garden or a staging corral, hand-wash stations at $85/mo each, and a traffic control package from $495/mo when a lane or a lot closes for a weekend. The events and festivals solution covers how a one-month minimum works for a three-day event.

Which container fits a Frisco lot?

Main Street commercial remodels and the townhome infill around it are tight, with one parking bay to spare and a sidewalk the town expects to stay open. The 10 ft storage container at $225/mo and the 12 ft storage container at $325/mo both put a walk-in man door and a barred window on the long side, so a crew can work out of them like a tool crib without swinging cargo doors into the street.

The 20 ft storage container at $295/mo is the box for a driveway, a lodge lot or a pad off Summit Boulevard, and it is the one most Frisco customers reserve. The 20 ft and 40 ft arrive as one-trip ISO containers with a welded lockbox on the cargo doors, the 10 ft and 12 ft add a man door and a barred window on the long side, and every one of them needs the same 70 ft straight approach except the 40 ft, which needs 100 ft.

The 12% damage waiver and the 5% environmental fee are figured on rent plus any recurring upgrades and added to each invoice, Colorado sales tax is calculated from the job address on top of every figure shown here, and the deposit is applied to your first invoice rather than held to the end. The pricing page has the rest of the fleet, including light towers, ground heaters, traffic control and hand-wash stations.

Which office suits a Frisco site?

Frisco sits at about 9,000 ft (Wikipedia), a few hundred feet below Breckenridge, and its winter is long but not the deepest in the county. The Base 20 ft office at $795/mo handles a powered lot with a 36-inch steel door, two barred slider windows, mini-split heat and cooling and a 50-amp shore-power inlet; the READY upgrade at $125/mo delivers it furnished and heated so the first morning is a work day.

For a site that will run through January, the Alpine 20 ft office at $1,895/mo adds a standing-seam over-roof, a covered entry deck and backup heat. For a lot that has no service yet, the Grid-Free 20 ft office at $1,495/mo carries solar, a 10 kWh battery, Starlink and a camera. A multifamily or workforce-housing job with a full crew takes the 40 ft office container with bathroom at $1,595/mo; the 20 ft versus 40 ft guide compares the two, and the container office versus trailer comparison explains why a steel shell earns its place at this altitude.

Do you need a permit for a container in Frisco?

Inside town limits the Town of Frisco Community Development Department is the authority, and its building work changed hands recently: in August 2024 the town dissolved its Building Division and moved building permits, plan review and inspections to a third-party contractor, Comprehensive Building Code Services, LLC (Town of Frisco). Projects still need both planning and building approval where the code requires it, sometimes on two separate applications, and the town runs them through its CommunityCore permitting platform (Town of Frisco).

Sites outside town limits fall to Summit County Building Inspection at 0037 Peak One Drive in Frisco, (970) 668-3170 (Summit County), which enforces the 2024 International Codes for plans submitted on or after July 1, 2026 (Summit County Building Inspection). A container on an active, permitted project is usually treated as part of that project, but the department makes that call; the Summit County container answer and the Colorado permit answer list the questions. Under section 5.2 of the rental agreement you hold the permits, HOA approvals and landlord consents before the truck rolls.

How does winter work on a Frisco site?

The Structural Engineers Association of Colorado lists Frisco, Dillon and Silverthorne together at a 65 psf recommended ground snow load in its 2016 Colorado Design Snow Loads report (SEAC), against 80 psf for Breckenridge. Those are ground loads for designing buildings, not a rating for a container roof, and no such rating is published for the fleet; what the lower figure means in practice is fewer heavy clearing days in Frisco than higher up, with a named person still doing them. Our snow load guide has the figures by town.

Section 7.4 of the agreement puts snow and ice removal on your crew: roof, solar panels, doors and the paths to them, and section 12.2 excludes damage from skipping that work from the waiver. Plan the plow route so the pile lands away from the cargo doors and the temporary fence line at $3.50/LF/mo, and keep the 70 ft approach open for the day the unit goes home.

The commercial chain law on I-70 runs from Dotsero to Morrison and from September 1 through May 31 (CDOT), so the whole Gypsum-to-Frisco run is inside it for nine months a year, and a Vail Pass closure costs a delivery day. Winter windows are set with weather days in them, a light tower at $1,250/mo covers the short afternoons, and a ground heater at $1,450/mo in season keeps concrete on the schedule.

What does the truck need at a Frisco site?

A Frisco driveway has to give the truck what section 5.2 of the agreement describes: a firm, level, well-drained pad at the end of a straight run of 70 ft for a 20 ft unit or 100 ft for a 40 ft, with utilities located and marked and one of your people on site to direct placement. The delivery space answer and the truck size answer show what that means against a real driveway.

Frisco lots near the lake are flatter than most in the county, but the neighborhoods that climb toward the peaks are not, and the slope answer covers how much cross-slope the truck can work with. The foundation answer covers what to put under the corners on frozen ground. A truck that cannot set the unit is billed under section 5.3 for that trip and for the return, so walk the pad the day before.

How do you power and connect a Frisco office?

An office connects to power through its 50-amp shore-power inlet, and section 7.2 of the agreement requires that a licensed electrician make the connection, to code, through that inlet. If the temporary service is still weeks out, the Grid-Free office runs on its own battery in the meantime; the off-grid power answer explains what a 10 kWh pack runs on a January day in Summit County.

CONNECT puts a Starlink dish and router on any storage container or office at $259/mo, WATCH adds a camera at $129/mo, POWER adds solar and battery at $399/mo, and the JOLT PACK bundles those three, and only those three, at $699/mo; READY furniture and heat is added separately at $125/mo. The Starlink cost answer and the heating answer cover the two questions Frisco customers ask most.

How do you reserve for Frisco?

Choose the unit, enter 80443 and the reserve flow shows Zone C, the fee each way and the deposit before anything is charged. The availability badge on each product page is live inventory, the standard window is 2–4 weeks from reservation, and JOLT Express puts a Base office on site within 7 business days for $750.

Under section 2.2 a written cancellation more than 14 days before the first day of your window is free and the deposit comes back in full; inside 14 days it is forfeited. At the end of the job, 15 days' written notice schedules the pickup under section 16 and rent runs until the unit is retrieved. How it works has the full sequence, and the mountain delivery guide is worth ten minutes before the first Summit County delivery.

Questions contractors ask

What does delivery to Frisco cost?

Frisco is Zone C: $750 for delivery and $750 for pickup, 62 road miles from our Gypsum yard on I-70 over Vail Pass. The fee is the same for every unit in the fleet and does not change between summer and winter.

Does Copper Mountain price the same as Frisco?

Yes. Copper Mountain addresses use Frisco's 80443 ZIP, so the reserve flow places them in Zone C at $750 each way. Give us the physical site address so the driver knows which side of the interstate to plan for.

Who issues the permit for a container in Frisco?

The Town of Frisco Community Development Department. Since August 2024 the town's building permits and inspections have been handled by its contractor, Comprehensive Building Code Services, and a project needs both planning and building approval where the code requires it. Outside town limits it is Summit County Building Inspection at 0037 Peak One Drive.

How fast can a unit be in Frisco?

Two to four weeks from the day you reserve is the standard window for any unit. If a Base 20 ft office has to be there sooner, JOLT Express sets it within 7 business days for a one-time $750; no other unit is offered on Express.

Which office is right for a Frisco site?

For a lot with power and a project that wraps by early winter, the Base 20 ft office at $795/mo. For a site working through the snow season, the Alpine at $1,895/mo with its over-roof and backup heat. For a lot with no power yet, the Grid-Free at $1,495/mo.

What size storage container fits a Main Street lot?

The 10 ft container at $225/mo takes half the floor of a 20 ft and has a walk-in door on the long side; the 12 ft at $325/mo adds a barred window. Both need the same 70 ft straight approach as a 20 ft at $295/mo, so measure the approach before the length.

How much snow does a container in Frisco have to carry?

The SEAC 2016 Colorado Design Snow Loads report lists Frisco at a 65 psf recommended ground snow load, with the local building official setting the code value. That is a design figure for buildings, not a published roof rating for a rental unit, and section 7.4 of the agreement puts snow removal on your crew whichever tier you rent.

How do I end the rental?

Give 15 days' written notice and we schedule the pickup at the Zone C fee of $750; rent runs until the unit is retrieved. Storage containers carry a 1-month minimum and offices a 3-month minimum before that notice can take effect.
