What is the full delivered cost for a Georgetown site?

Budget $1,200 for the inbound trip and $1,200 for return, then add the selected rent and recurring fees. A Base 20 ft office is $795/mo per month with a three-month minimum; a 10 ft storage box is $225/mo with a one-month minimum.

The truck fee does not shrink with the box. A long county-facility job using an office, storage, fence and winter equipment can distribute those legs across many working months, while one storage box for a short repair leaves transport as the dominant cost.

The damage waiver adds 12% of rent plus recurring upgrades. Theft is excluded, and the deductible and complete exclusions are in Rental Agreement §12; the environmental fee is 5% of the same base and does not compound on the waiver.

Deposits are applied to the first invoice rather than added to rent. An office or 40 ft unit uses $750, a smaller storage box uses $350, temporary fence uses $500 and a ground heater uses $1,000.

Cancellation is free when written notice arrives more than 14 days before the first day of the delivery window. Inside that period the deposit is forfeited under Rental Agreement §2.2, so settle review and access questions before that boundary.

When does a closer rental yard make more sense?

Choose a nearby Front Range source for a single storage container on a short assignment, a same-week request that is not a Base office, or a job whose staging moves between addresses. Georgetown may be our nearest Zone E destination, but two mountain-yard trips still weigh heavily against a brief, small order.

An on-site move within one property is $450 when JOLT performs it. The customer may not move the unit under Rental Agreement §5.5, and transferring it to another parcel creates pickup and delivery charges.

For an office-led season, compare what each yard puts behind the monthly number. Ask whether heating and cooling, interior lights, outlets, the electrical inlet, personnel door and barred windows are included, and ask what the furniture and internet lines cost separately.

The Base office includes a 36-inch steel personnel door, two barred slider windows, mini-split heat and cooling, 50-amp shore-power inlet, lights, outlets and vinyl-plank floor. READY is a separate $125/mo package with a plan table, two chairs, whiteboard, mini-fridge, microwave and 1,500 W heater.

Also ask any yard for the damage waiver rate, environmental charge, delivery and retrieval fees, minimum term, annual adjustment and relocation policy. Those answers make a usable comparison; headline rent by itself does not.

Why should winter drive the unit choice?

At 8,530 ft, plan the winter package before choosing office finishes. The customer is responsible for clearing snow, ice and debris from roofs, condensers, panels, doors and access paths under Rental Agreement §7.4, including the path required for eventual pickup.

The Alpine office starts with everything in Grid-Free, then adds matte-black exterior treatment with cedar surrounds, a standing-seam over-roof, covered entry deck and backup heat. It rents for $1,895/mo on the same three-month office minimum.

Base can still be the right winter choice where dependable 50-amp shore power is ready and the crew will manage snow around the mini-split condenser. Use the winter office guide and snow-load guide to assign operating and clearing duties rather than assuming the rental yard handles them.

For frozen ground or cold concrete work, the ground heater is a trailer-mounted hydronic thaw and cure unit with insulated hose on a reel. It is priced in season at $1,450/mo with a one-month minimum.

A light tower supports early starts and late finishes with four LED floodlights on a mast reaching about 30 ft, plus a generator cabinet on a single-axle trailer. Rent is $1,250/mo on a one-month minimum.

Guanella Pass Road closes seasonally each winter (Clear Creek County). A job toward Guanella Pass or in the Silver Plume direction should treat winter route availability and slow travel as active logistics issues, not details to solve after dispatch.

The pickup plan should be written into winter logistics at mobilization. Leave enough room to recover the box after material piles, fence runs and snow storage appear, give at least 15 days' written notice, and keep the unit empty, clean and accessible.

How does delivery work when I-70 weather changes?

Every unit carries a 2–4 week window from reservation rather than a fixed promised date. Interstate weather, closures and final-site conditions can change the workable sequence, so the receiving representative should remain reachable and the pad should remain ready throughout the confirmed window.

The truck needs a firm, level, well-drained placement surface and clear tilt-bed or flatbed access. Allow about 70 ft straight for a 20 ft unit and 100 ft for a 40 ft unit, plus adequate road width, turning radius, grade and overhead clearance as listed in Rental Agreement §5.2.

Walk the complete approach, not only the pad. Tight valley lots can have enough room for a 10 ft box yet lack room for the truck to straighten; the space answer and mountain delivery guide identify the checks to make.

A representative authorized to choose the final position must be there, and the customer marks overhead and underground utilities. If access, weather, a missing representative or site conditions prevent placement, the trip is charged and rescheduled under Rental Agreement §5.3.

Site teams should also decide which person can direct delivery. A facilities representative may know the approved area while a subcontractor knows the excavation limits; both need to agree before the driver arrives, because the designated representative's placement direction controls the set.

That advance agreement also protects the pickup route. Record the final position and preserve truck access as fencing, excavations and public operations change around the unit.

Which small unit works on a tight valley lot?

The 10 ft storage container is the smallest box. It is 8 ft wide and standard height, has half the floor of a 20 ft container, and includes a walk-in man door and barred window on the long side plus cargo doors on the end.

The 12 ft box is also 8 ft wide and standard height, with a long-side man door, one barred window and end cargo doors. Its extra length can help a utility crew organize a walk-in tool crib while preserving more staging room than a 20 ft footprint.

Decide door orientation before the truck arrives, not while it idles on a narrow street. On a valley lot the man door usually wants to face the work and the cargo doors want a clear swing away from the retaining wall or fence line, and the representative directing placement should have that plan marked on the ground so the driver can set the box once.

For plain storage, the 20 ft container is a one-trip standard-height ISO box with cargo doors, four lock bars and a welded lockbox. It has no windows or personnel door, a point worth confirming when another quote describes only a generic container.

The 40 ft storage container is a one-trip high-cube measuring 9 ft 6 in tall, with cargo doors and a welded lockbox. Its three-month minimum and roughly 100 ft straight approach suit a larger planned material package, not an improvised downtown placement.

A 20 ft office uses about 70 ft straight-line delivery clearance and fits many municipal or utility projects. The 40 ft office with bathroom includes an enclosed bathroom at the far end, mini-split, 50-amp inlet, lights, outlets and vinyl-plank floor, but it needs the longer approach.

It rents for $1,595/mo with a three-month minimum and needs about 100 ft straight for delivery. Confirm how water and sewer will be supplied because the customer provides and pays for utilities unless the order says otherwise under Rental Agreement §7.

What approvals matter in the county seat and historic district?

The customer obtains permits, zoning decisions, landlord approval and any other required consent under Rental Agreement §5.2(d). Georgetown is the Clear Creek County seat, so county-facility and municipal work may involve both owner rules and local placement review.

For a site in or near the historic district, ask the town whether historic district review applies to a temporary unit. Do not infer an exemption from the rental term or the fact that the unit can later be moved.

Ask where the box may sit, whether delivery affects a public street, and whether a logo treatment or visible mechanical equipment changes the review. The Colorado permit answer is a planning aid, but only the applicable office can decide the address.

For a visible downtown project, BRAND places the customer's logo on 24 by 48 vinyl on two sides for a one-time $450 charge. Ask whether that treatment is acceptable before ordering it, particularly where appearance receives review.

What power and communications work before utilities?

Choose Grid-Free when the office HVAC itself must work without shore power. It includes Base plus WATCH, CONNECT and POWER, with a 10 kWh battery pack that runs the mini-split, at $1,495/mo.

For smaller electrical needs, POWER adds two 400 W solar panels, a 3 kWh LFP battery and inverter to a Base office or storage box. It runs Starlink, camera, lights and laptops for $399/mo, but it does not run the mini-split.

CONNECT is a Starlink Mini, router and 50 GB Roam package at $259/mo, with an unlimited add-on available. WATCH is a solar LTE panoramic camera with motion alerts and cloud clips at $129/mo; the JOLT Pack combines WATCH, CONNECT and POWER.

Ask any rental yard whether internet data, camera clips, solar hardware and office HVAC power are included or separate. Then account for the limits: terrain, weather, sky view, third-party networks, sunlight and load affect service, and Rental Agreement §13.2 provides no uptime promise.

The customer also posts any legally required camera notices and obtains recording consents under §13.3. A camera can support a security plan, but it does not transfer site-security responsibility to JOLT.

Rent is owed for the full minimum term. It then continues month to month until at least 15 days' written notice and retrieval, with a 5% increase on each delivery anniversary under Rental Agreement §3.4; make the unit accessible, empty and clean for pickup under §16.
