An event kit starts with temporary fence at $3.50/LF/mo, hand-wash stations at $85/mo each and a 20 ft storage container at $295/mo. For a typical festival, plan 500–1,500 LF of fence for the perimeter, back-of-house boundaries and a production compound, then place storage and washing points where crews can reach them without crossing public routes.

What does an event site need, and which unit covers it?

Start with the movement plan. Mark the public edge, backstage, food service, staff work areas, merchandise handling, production storage, parking and load-out route. The equipment list follows those uses; it does not replace the organizer's operations plan, emergency plan or permit work.

The Basic traffic package consists of 25 cones, 6 Type II barricades and 2 sign stands. It is equipment only. JOLT does not provide flaggers or write the traffic control plan, so the organizer must assign qualified personnel and obtain the approvals required for the route.

Add the Base office only when the calendar supports its 3-month minimum. A weekend producer should not treat it as a short-term trailer; it fits a season of events, a long venue build-out or a program with repeated credentialing days. It needs shore power through its 50-amp inlet, with utility connection handled under site requirements.

BRAND puts the organizer's or sponsor's logo on two sides of a container for a one-time $450. The customer represents that it owns or is licensed to use the artwork supplied, as stated in Rental Agreement §14. Branding goes on a container, not on rented fence panels.

What does the kit cost for an event?

Cost the rental as a month even if gates open for only three days. A worked month with an 800 LF fence line has these separate invoice inputs:

• 800 LF of fence at $3.50/LF/mo, based on measured installed footage.
• Fence installation at $1.75 per LF, charged once.
• Fence removal at $1.75 per LF, charged once.
• Two hand-wash stations, each at $85/mo.
• One 20 ft storage container at $295/mo.
• One light tower at $1,250/mo.

Your estimator multiplies the per-foot rates by the measured footage and adds the lines. The fence, storage container and light tower each carry their own reservation deposit: $500, $350 and $500. The hand-wash deposit of $85 applies when that station is ordered alone.

Deposits reserve specific equipment and a delivery window, then apply to the first invoice under Rental Agreement §2. They are not added to monthly rent as a second rental charge. Each unit has its own invoice with its own delivery and pickup lines.

A Vail event is Zone B — $550 each way; a Snowmass event is Zone C — $750 each way. Include both legs for every applicable unit, along with fence installation and removal.

Recurring charges also include the 5% environmental fee and sales tax. The optional damage waiver is 12% of rent plus recurring upgrades; the alternative is a refundable deposit of one month's rent plus a certificate of insurance. Review the waiver exclusions before choosing between those paths rather than treating the waiver as insurance.

The temporary fence cost guide separates recurring footage from one-time labor and transport. The published price sheet carries every deposit, recurring charge and delivery leg the event budget needs.

How far ahead should an event team reserve?

Use the standard 2–4 week delivery window from reservation for fence, hand-wash stations, storage, light towers, traffic equipment and offices. Count backward from the day the perimeter must be operational, not from the first public admission. Build week often begins before the event date, and the fence route must be clear when our crew arrives.

JOLT Express applies only to the 20 ft office · Base. It targets delivery within 7 business days for $750 and does not accelerate fence, storage, washing stations, light towers or traffic devices. Do not build the event schedule around Express unless the only late item is a Base office.

Cancellation is free when written notice reaches JOLT more than 14 days before the first day of the delivery window. A later cancellation or refusal of delivery forfeits the reservation deposit under Rental Agreement §2. Reserve once the event date, usable delivery area and responsible site contact are settled enough to hold that window.

Inventory remains subject to availability. Check the product choices and send one current site drawing with the reservation rather than letting operations, security and vendors submit separate versions. The reservation-to-retrieval process gives the buyer a common sequence to share with those teams.

How is the event fence line planned?

Draw every straight run, corner, return and planned opening. Each galvanized chain-link panel is 6 ft tall × 10 ft wide, so the first planning pass divides straight footage into whole panel widths. Use the temporary fence panel calculator to estimate the count, then let JOLT review the actual layout before installation.

Mark emergency routes, vendor access, production movement and public egress before the line is installed. No gates are included in the published price. An opening can be planned as a gap in the run, but gate hardware must not be assumed in the event budget.

No windscreen or privacy screen is included either. Do not attach banners, tarps, sponsor mesh or signs without JOLT's written consent under Rental Agreement §7. A covered chain-link panel catches more wind than an open panel, which changes the load on a freestanding line and must be reviewed before anything is fixed to it.

The venue and town special-event permit decide where the event may put its perimeter and which emergency routes or openings must remain available. JOLT reviews the requested panel layout, installs the agreed line and removes it at the end. JOLT does not decide the organizer's legal fence obligation; the Colorado and OSHA fence overview explains why the responsible authority and site team must settle requirements for the actual use.

Keep the route free of tents, pallets, parked vehicles and vendor stock on installation and removal days. During the rental, the organizer should assign fence checks after wind and after site activity changes an opening. Customers may not move, alter or reinstall JOLT equipment without written consent.

What should the event plan for hand-wash stations?

Each station is portable and self-contained with its own water supply. The customer supplies water, soap and towels, so assign replenishment and cleaning to a named operations role rather than treating the station as unattended equipment. Put stations near food service and staff areas while preserving service access.

The health authority's temporary food event rules decide how many stations the event needs. JOLT does not set that count. Give the authority the actual food-vendor plan, staff arrangement and public layout, then reserve the resulting quantity.

Hand-wash stations are not freeze-proof. For fall and spring events, watch the forecast and choose placement that lets the organizer protect or service them overnight.

Water is a customer-supplied site input under Rental Agreement §7. Confirm who fills each station before food preparation starts and who checks supplies during service. The same assignment should cover the staff-only station if public and back-of-house washing points are separated.

How do storage and a production office fit the site?

Use the 20 ft storage container for merchandise, radios, production cases and vendor overflow. It is a one-trip, standard-height ISO container with cargo doors, four lock bars and a welded lockbox. It has no windows or man door, so reserve it as storage rather than as an occupied workroom.

Place storage inside the overnight compound with its cargo doors facing a controlled working aisle. Add WATCH camera service at $129/mo when the container needs a panoramic camera view with motion alerts and cloud clips. Camera coverage depends on placement and LTE conditions; it does not replace the organizer's locks, staffing or access rules.

WATCH may record video, images, audio, location and usage data at the site. The customer is responsible for required recording notices, signage and consents under Rental Agreement §13. Plan those notices before activation, especially where staff, vendors and the public pass near the compound.

The Base office gives production or credentialing staff a 20 ft enclosed room with a steel personnel door, two barred slider windows, lights, outlets, vinyl-plank floor and mini-split heat and cooling. It requires a 50-amp shore-power connection. A licensed electrician must connect utilities through the provided inlet.

Its 3-month minimum changes the decision. Use it for a festival season, a series at one venue or a long construction and strike schedule. For a single weekend with a short build, storage may cover secure gear while the organizer supplies another approved workspace.

How does a monthly rental fit a three-day event?

Fence, 20 ft storage, a light tower and hand-wash stations each have a 1-month minimum. Rent for the full minimum is due even when public programming lasts three days or pickup is requested earlier. Any office has a 3-month minimum, so compare its full commitment with the event series or build-out calendar, not only the show dates.

Schedule delivery inside the standard 2–4 week window so fence installation finishes before build week. Work backward from the first vendor, tent or production arrival that depends on the perimeter. Leave room for the town and venue to approve the line before JOLT loads panels for the agreed route.

Give pickup notice at reservation when the event has a fixed strike date. The agreement requires at least 15 days' written notice, and rent continues until JOLT retrieves the equipment under Rental Agreement §16. Notice given at reservation puts the retrieval date in writing early; the crew still has to empty the container and keep the route open on the day.

The town special-event permit and venue rules control the allowed fence line, required openings, wash-station count and traffic devices. The organizer owns those decisions and supplies the approved plans and personnel. JOLT reviews panel layout, installs the rented fence and removes it; JOLT does not approve the event plan.

That split matters when a late production change moves a tent or vendor route. The organizer first checks the change with the venue and authority, then sends JOLT the revised fence request. Do not move panels or traffic equipment on the assumption that the rental provider has approved a permit change.

Vail is Zone B. Aspen and Snowmass are Zone C, Steamboat Springs is Zone D, and Denver and Boulder are Zone E. The zone sets the transport price from our yard in Gypsum; it does not change the monthly minimum.

How should load-in, delivery and load-out be sequenced?

Confirm a firm, level, well-drained placement area for each container. A 20 ft unit needs about 70 ft of straight-line truck clearance, plus workable overhead clearance, road width, turning radius and grade. Keep the approach open and have the organizer's representative present to direct placement when our truck arrives.

The customer locates and marks utilities and obtains permits, venue approvals and property consents. These site duties are set out in Rental Agreement §5. A failed delivery caused by access, site conditions or an absent representative creates another charged trip, so walk the route before the delivery window begins.

Sequence the compound before vendor inventory arrives. Set the storage container where its cargo doors remain usable, establish the approved fence line around it, and keep planned openings clear. Place hand-wash stations where crews can replenish them without driving through a public queue.

Traffic control Basic can supply lot and route devices after the organizer's traffic plan identifies their locations. The package does not include a planner or personnel. Keep device placement coordinated with emergency access and the delivery route so the container truck is not sent through a closed approach.

For night load-out, position the trailer-mounted light tower where its four LED floodlights and mast can serve the work area without blocking retrieval. The customer supplies fuel, operates the tower according to its instructions and returns it at the delivered fuel level. The fuel type is confirmed for the assigned unit when you reserve.

Strike merchandise and production gear from the storage container before pickup. Remove customer attachments, clear the doors and restore the truck's access path. Fence removal also needs a clear route along both sides of the line, not only an open vehicle entrance.

Pickup needs at least 15 days' written notice, and rent runs until retrieval. A fixed event should submit that notice at reservation, then reconfirm that equipment is empty and accessible before the pickup date. Failed pickup trips are charged under Rental Agreement §16, while an accessible site lets removal follow the event's planned closeout.
