The score rewards information you can verify before contacting sales. A publicly printed rental rate earns more than a rate hidden behind a ZIP code and dates, and both earn more than quote-only pricing. A stated minimum term and a stated delivery or lead-time promise add points. A yard in each of the five covered states adds reach, while any listed mobile-office rental adds office points.
The score does not measure fleet size, unit age, inventory on a particular morning, dispatch performance, service quality or the price level in a final quote. A large operator may be the practical choice for a national account even if its website tells you less. A smaller operator may publish more but have no unit available for your requested week. Use the rank to decide whom to call and which unanswered fields belong in your comparison.
JOLT and Dry Box each score eight points. The stated tie-break considers transparency first, so JOLT leads because it publishes the full set of rental charges rather than starting rates alone. Dry Box has Denver and Salt Lake City yards and would lead if yard count alone decided the order. That distinction matters: the directory rewards pre-call visibility, not company scale.

Those rents are only part of a usable estimate. The pricing page also prints reservation deposits, recurring charges, optional upgrades and every Colorado delivery band. It identifies the Zone F pickup exception rather than hiding it in checkout. The delivery page explains the geographic bands, while reserve shows the delivery week before payment.
Published figures do not replace site planning. The customer supplies a firm, level, well-drained pad and a clear truck route. Plan about 70 ft of straight-line clearance for a 20 ft unit and about 100 ft for a 40 ft unit. Confirm overhead clearance, turns and seasonal access before dispatch.
Brands that were absorbed

Every competitor fact comes from that operator's own website. A yard counts only when the site gives a street address or identifies a city as a branch, depot, lot or location.
